Arrests Made After Minneapolis Protesters Block Interstate 35 During Morning Commute


The Minnesota State Patrol made many arrests Wednesday after dissenters hindered the southbound paths of Interstate 35W close University Avenue in Minneapolis.

Nonconformists slowed down the morning peak hour around 7:30 a.m., going down freeway movement around 5 miles.

The State Patrol says it arrested 41 individuals with assistance from Hennepin County Sheriff's Office and the University of Minnesota Police Department.

The gathering said they were challenging the July 6 shooting passing of Philando Castile. The 32-year-old Castile was shot and murdered by a St. Anthony cop amid a movement stop. The gathering said it is a "non-dark associate of Black Lives Matter," however it is not subsidiary with the gathering that has been responding to the passings of youthful dark men.
