"It would be absurd for a prosecutor not to go ahead with it and right around a surrender of obligation," Giuliani, who was in office amid the 9/11 assaults, told Gretchen Carlson on Fox News. "What was simply laid out is the thing that we would call an easy decision in the lawyer's office that Jim Comey worked at, he was one of my collaborators.
"A sensible prosecutor would have brought this case most likely," he included. "I don't know how he ever, ever will be ready to charge anyone in the CIA or the FBI who is to a great degree thoughtless with top mystery data, on the off chance that he isn't charging Hillary Clinton.
He was generally as destructive in a prior meeting with CNBC.
"Gross negligence is the first definition in Black's Law Dictionary," Giuliani told Brian Sullivan on CNBC. "Gross negligence includes the words 'extreme carelessness.'
"Carelessness equals negligence. Extreme carelessness equals gross negligence, under the law. He knows that."
Giuliani, showing up to some degree shocked at the FBI chief's declaration, told Fox that he was "so frustrated in this."
"I brought cases against the Teamsters Union during the 1988 election when it did serious damage to the Republican Party.
"She damaged [the law]," he said.
